# Adventfold

> Plan December activities around school days, travel, busy evenings and your children's ages, then print dated cards, a fridge calendar and a supplies list.

Adventfold is a browser only Advent and December activity planner for families. A parent chooses the year (2026 to 2030), a start (1 December or the first Sunday of Advent, worked out as the Sunday from 27 November to 3 December) and an end (24 or 25 December), types 1 to 5 children's first names and ages (0 to 17), paints each date as a school day, a weekend or holiday, a travelling day, a busy evening or a day to skip, and chooses indoors only or outdoors, what December is like where they live (snow likely, snow unlikely, or a southern hemisphere summer), a budget (none, small, medium), faith content (Christmas with no faith content, Christian, or general winter), screen-free and an optional diet note. It fits one of 264 original activities to each day by 12 fixed rules: short activities on school days and busy evenings, long ones on weekends, snow and frost activities only where snow is likely, no-supplies activities on travelling days, every child's age inside the range, under 3s with a grown-up only, nothing above the budget, no repeats, no baking or crafts on consecutive days, a together finale on the last day and a seeded shuffle with a 6 character code. When too few fit it names the binding choice. It makes dated cards 6 to a page with crop marks, a fridge calendar and a supplies and prep list as PDFs (A4 or US Letter), and a 1200 by 1600 calendar picture. The plan stays in the browser.

The plan on screen, swaps, edits, reshuffles, the fridge calendar (PDF and picture), 6 sample cards and 1 saved plan are free with no sign up. A paid plan adds the full set of cards, the supplies list, up to 5 saved plans and next year's carry over; prices are shown at checkout.

## What it is not

- Not affiliated: Adventfold is not affiliated with any toy company, retailer, church or calendar publisher.
- Not a shop: no products are sold, and no activity needs a brand, a shop or a licensed character.
- Fixed rules: the same plan code, dates, children and choices always give the same plan.
- Not advice about children: ages, lengths and costs are a guide and a grown-up stays in charge.
- Not an uploader: names, ages and dates are never sent anywhere; there is no server and no account.
